Broke down just north of Weed.  The oil filler cap fell off and covered me in hot engine oil.

It took a few days to get the part, but everythings back in order and we are in Santa Rosa now.

Battery in laptop is almost dead, so we will post more when we find a place to plug in.  There are lots of interesting things to come.

Grants Pass

Paul Bunyan and Oregon Cave Man

 The Oregon Caveman is the mascot for Grants Pass, and there is a group of people who dress up like Cavemen and play tricks during celebrations and city events all over the West coast. They try to spread the word about Grants Pass to entice visitors to come.

Camping under freeway

Never, ever, EVER camp at Amacher Campsite in Grants Pass. It's right under I-5, and it's LOUD.

Noah's arc, creepy Santa-Noah

We had lunch at Noahs Arc.  Santa-noah tried to sell us some videos and posters.

Magic Mushrooms

It was closed when we got there, so maybe we'll check it out on our way back.
